Why We Built This

Most Australian PR points calculators were built years ago and have not been meaningfully updated since. They calculate a number but tell you nothing about whether that number is competitive for your specific occupation, which visa pathway suits your situation, or how the proposed 2026 reform might affect your strategy.

Legally Accurate

Every point value on this site cites the specific Schedule 6D item number from the Migration Regulations 1994, the actual law, not secondhand summaries. We correct the errors that appear on almost every other calculator site: wrong age bands, missed work experience caps, and single applicants who don't know they get 10 partner points.

Occupation-Aware

A score of 80 points means something very different for a registered nurse than for an accountant. Our calculator shows your occupation's invitation history alongside your score, because the number alone is not the answer.
